Here is the second group of 25 Apophysis fractal flames that I put together for anyone who wants them. Play with them all you want. If you make something cool with one, please let me know! I'd love to see what you guys can come up with. All I ask is that you manipulate them instead of rendering one as-is and calling it your own.

I am new to this website and would like to know how to create my own fractals. Please let me know how to do this on an iMac laptop version 10.5.3. Thank you

There is a version of Apophysis for Macs. You can find the download here, hosted by hebejebelus at deviantArt.

Thank you very much for your assistance. However, I came across a few problems. When I first opened the program, I was advised to download a program called freetype and that the version should be at least 2.3.5. I tried going on the website (www.freetype.org) but I couldn't make heads or tails of what to do there (this appears to be a binary program (which I do not know how to use)). I quit apomac and tried to reopen it on several occasions but each time I get a message that it timed out and the only remaining program is something called X11. I am sorry for the length of this message but I really have no idea what is wrong here.

I'm sorry, I cannot advise further. I'm not an avid Mac user so I've never tried to install it before. I'll ask around though, maybe someone from the Apophysis mailing list knows a thing or two.
