A charcoal drawing I did in college about 12 or 13 years ago. This one was exhibited in the student art show that year. It's showing signs of wear, but I still like it. The assignment was to draw a piece of folded or crumpled paper. This was a folded piece of paper ripped out of a small spiral notebook. There were multiple light sources in the room which caused the complex shadows. It was exhibited in the Student Show at Buckham Gallery that year.

I just love when the green of spring arrives in my yard. I have beautiful tulips in the front and bountiful purple lilac bushes in the back!

Infinite Mask - Etching

It was all etched on a black 8x10 Ampersand Claybord, so the white could show through. I'd hate to know how many hours I put into it total. All along I was saying "it's just a doodle to pass the time." but now that it's done, I think it might be a little more than that. Original 8x10 for sale. Finished this tonight, but I'm slightly disapointed in it because the face seems a little too long. The scan sucks... can't see the highlights and shadows as well as in the actual sketch. But hey, it was fun. Kept me occupied for a few nights!
