So I'm stuck on this song in Hard mode... I can't even imagine trying to do it in Expert, much less get 100% like this guy. Mad props! Which begs the question — how long does one have to sit around playing this video game in their parent's basement in order to get that good? I'd call the guy a loser, but to be honest, I might have a little hero worship going on at the moment.

The story behind the cookies...

First batch - 1:30 PM. My sister is to blame. She gave me the wrong instructions, I know she did. Three times now, I have tried to use the recipe she gave me for the traditional shortbread cookies our family used to make every year around the holidays and each time, they've been dry and I've had to had another half cup of milk to get them to hold together. Even then, they only turn out if they are filled with fruit and stacked on top of each other. This time, same thing. It was a bust. They were grainy. Youngest daughter said, "they taste like crackers." Blah.

Teehee, a City of Flint employee sent this our way.

And good riddance! The Flint Journal announced that Mayor, Don Williamson has officially resigned from office, citing medical issues such as multiple sinus infections and kidney stones.

If you've been following my blog, you know how I feel about Don the Con, and that we were part of the recall efforts, gathering petition signatures, donating time and money to ensure the bull-headed megalomaniac was ousted from office. This breaking news gives the trodden-down citizens of the once great city of Flint reason to celebrate!
