When I first saw this emerging as I was manipulating a flame, I kept thinking that it reminded me of two entities, growing toward eachother.
I brought the two entities closer and closer to eachother until suddenly, they began to merge into one form, and their parts began to look alike, and though I knew them once as two, they were now one.
But I think this piece says more than that, it's as though the entities are fighting to remain individuals, even while they cling to eachother. The more confined they become, the more intimate and gently they begin to recieve one another.
