Artist David C. Roy has always been fascinated by mechanics and motion. He graduated with a degree in physics that led him to the creation of these unique kinetic sculptures. He has handcrafted over 90 limited-edition and one-of-a-kind scupltures that require no battieries or electricity; they just need winding, then the spring-driven mechanism takes over, providing 3 - 20 hours of beautiful and mesmerising movement.

His designs are plotted out with the help of a computer using a number of different applications like Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia's Extreme 3D. Then he spends several days cutting the pieces with a bandsaw and assembling the sculptures. Combining imagery that is often times symbolic, Tabanera depicts a realistic surrealism that grabs hold of the viewer and won't let go. Fernando portrays a world in which headless figures strike provocative poses, flowers offer sensual statements when juxtaposed to modern-day machinery, and monochromatic dreamscapes entice the mind to ponder it all.

Artist, George W. Hart creates geometric sculptures out of common household objects, paper, plastic, metal and wood.

When asked how he gets ideas for his work, he says he just visualizes the forms and usually knows exactly which material he wants to use to execute the visualization. He often makes paper models woven with ribbon to work out the details of how each piece will be assembled.

In every piece, he seeks to create engaging forms which carry a geometric aesthetic, but which can be as easily appreciated by viewers without any special fondness for math or geometry. I'd say he exceeds his goal. I'm completely mesmerized.
